We pray, support and train our churches in ways to partner in their neighborhoods to house people out of homelessness. We also engage in advocacy on the local, county, and state level to create more affordable housing in our region. We meet the last Thursday of the month at 1 pm on Zoom. All are welcome.
Our Homeless and Housing Task Force formed in 2017 after the passage of Measures H and HHH in the City and County of Los Angeles created a new era of collaboration with non-profit, government, and faith-based leadership to end homelessness in Los Angeles. We pray, support and train our churches in ways to partner in their neighborhoods to house people out of homelessness. The Free Butterflies Ministry at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church of Lomita is an example. We also engaged in advocacy on the local, county, and state level to create more affordable housing in our region.
