You’ve heard of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday, but what about Giving Tuesday? As part of a global charitable giving effort, we’re inviting Presbyterians across the country to support the work of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) on Tuesday, December 2. Just imagine the impact of 1.8 million Presbyterians working together to support this effort! There are many ways to participate in Giving Tuesday. For example, you may give to:
- Your home church
- The Christmas Joy Offering and One Great Hour of Sharing
- Presbyterian mission workers
- The 1001 New Worshiping Communities church-planting effort
- Your presbytery’s work in your community
- Another Presbyterian-related mission organization
A special web page has been developed to make giving easy. The Presbyterian Mission Exchange is a safe, secure online-giving platform for Presbyterian congregations and ministries. Operated by the Presbyterian Foundation, donors can use this site to make online gifts via debit or credit card or electronic funds transfer to any PC(USA) congregation, and to dozens of Presbyterian-related ministries and mission organizations—regional, national, and international.
Funds raised for your congregation will be delivered by check within two weeks. Applicable credit card processing fees will be deducted from the total raised. (If your church is a PMX partner, monies raised will be deposited in your Ministry Partnership Fund.)
