Homelessness and Housing Task Force
St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church in the News!

Congratulations to St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, Lomita, for the Presbyterian News Service article featuring their outreach to homeless encampments! St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church volunteers visit people experiencing homelessness in encampments near their church and work in partnership with LAHSA outreach workers to move people into permanent supportive housing. You can read a recent article about their ministry in Presbyterians New Service HERE .

St. Mark’s is part of the Homelessness and Housing Task Force in the Presbytery, which meets monthly for prayer, support and encouragement in how to be more creative and effective in our homeless outreach ministry. You and your church are welcome and encouraged to join us!

The Homelessnes & Housing Task Force meets the last Thursday of every month. The next meeting is August 29th at 1:00 pm at the Presbytery of the Pacific Office.
