We Are Building on Globe Avenue in Culver City
Building has begun on 10 homes on Globe Avenue across from Culver City Presbyterian Church. Because Pacific Presbytery has raised over $200,000,
we have been given the last Saturday of the month throughout the duration
of the build (which we anticipate to be 18 months). We have 25 spots for our Saturday build days, and ask for teams of 5 from each church so that we can have the diversity of our churches represented on each Saturday build day. Our build days are from 8am-4pm at 4044 Globe Ave Culver City.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED EVERY CHURCH
IN PACIFIC PRESBYTERY TO DO:
- Designate a “Habitat Champion” to coordinate your Saturday build days. A Habitat Champion is a point person from your church willing to recruit and coordinate a small group of volunteers for Saturday build days.
- Invite your Habitat Champion to dinner with hard hats on the Culver City build site on August 2nd at 6:30pm at 4044 Globe Ave Culver City. Please email Chris Untiet chrisu@habitatla.org with your Habitat Champion’s name and contact info.
