The Crisis of Refugees and Unaccompanied Minors

To Leaders in the Presbytery of the Pacific:
At the beginning this year, churches throughout the Presbytery of the Pacific coordinated a backpack drive for unaccompanied minor children. We put their backpacks on our backs, pledging to take their burden on us.
On November 4th from 9:30-12pm at Knox Presbyterian Church in Pasadena, we will find out how our kids–the ones whose burdens we bear– are doing under new quotas, enforcement priorities and Executive Orders. It will be a day of learning about migration of all refugees to this country, understanding our policies and recent changes to those policies, and finding out new ways to reach out and get involved.
Please advertise in your churches about this important and timely event, in partnership with other presbyteries and our Matthew 25 churches. Click HERE to download the flyer, or click the following link for the Facebook post: https://www.facebook.com/events/761155627426706.
Thank you!
Peace,
