Lulu Stevens grants are managed by the Mission Interpretation & Promotion Committee. Grants are offered year-round, pending availability of funds.

UPDATED NOVEMBER 9 2010

Who was Lulu Stevens? No one knows. She was not recorded as a member for any Presbyterian Church in our area. Lulu Steven’s death was recorded in 1994; she left a bequest of $294,000 to the Presbytery of the Pacific. Subsequently, the Presbytery created the Lulu Stevens Fund, the income of the bequest to be used as stipulated by Ms. Stevens. The Fund makes grants for ministries within the Presbytery of the Pacific, specifically for the economically disadvantaged.
