General Assembly Experiences:
Shari Stump
Exhibitor, PW Booth

Hi all –
I think I’m probably having a totally different experience here at General Assembly in San Jose than Leslie Evans and Stafford Fredericks are having! I’m enjoying the “social” aspect of the GA. I work all day long in the Presbyterian Women’s booth in the Exhibit Hall. Our booth is located on a very busy corner of the hall, across from a huge General Assembly Council exhibit, so we get a lot of traffic and I’ve seen and talked to hundreds of people! I’m having a ball! (I’m sure that doesn’t surprise most of you!). I’ve managed to visit with Judy Siker twice, which is more than we see each other back inWestchester!

Yesterday at the Women of Faith breakfast, I was privileged to introduce Ann Hayman, one of three 2008 Women of Faith award recipients. It was a grand party – and it was a well-timed affirmation of Ann’s work for over 28 years at the Mary Magdalene Project. Receiving the award in front of over 400 friends, family, and colleagues, affirmed her ministry as a “Visionary Woman Transforming the Church and Society.” It couldn’t have happened to a better woman! It was wonderful!
A long day is coming to an end.

God is Good! Goodnight!
Blessings and Peace,
Shari
